We use our sense of smell to appreciate the lovely fragrance of the honeysuckle. We use our sense of vision to see the colors. We also use our senses when we coach and when we lead other people. It is the part of being empathic. Registering what is going on “between the lines”.
As a coach I find it of big importance, that I can sense and feel what is happening in the person that is in front of me, but I also need the courage to challenge him or her. In coaching and leadership training I use this ability. For you as a leader it is also an issue. The more you “see” your employees, the better chance you have to be the manager, that can motivate and inspire and also know when to go in and be the authority.
Make the company bloom. Train your leadership and use a coach that can challenge you.
